The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners on Oct. 27, 2025, approved the hire of Darrick Fullerton as a Utility Operator in the Road and Bridge department, effective the same day at a rate of $16.00 per hour. Commissioner Cory Moates moved the hire and Commissioner Jack Garner seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
