Representatives from the Minneapolis Rec Commission, City of Minneapolis, Fair Board and other stakeholders discussed the Fairgrounds Property/Land Use Agreement and agreed to changes clarifying ownership language and insurance responsibilities. The Commission approved wording changes to replace "jointly" with "and/or" and to make Ottawa County responsible for property and liability insurance for all buildings unless an exception is noted, while the City of Minneapolis would provide property and liability insurance on city‑owned property used by the Rec Commission and the south restroom.
