The Fayette County Board of Commissioners approved a contract on June 22 between the Fayette County Department of Job and Family Services and My Place to provide Title IV‑E child placement and related services for children under the county’s care. The contract term runs from June 8, 2026, through Dec. 31, 2026, and the minutes state the maximum payable amount is $60,000. Commissioner Donald L. Fleak moved to approve the contract per the request of Director Faye Williamson; Commissioner Tony Anderson seconded and the motion carried with unanimous roll call.
