Falco also explained the city's code currently does not allow automated menu boards and asked the applicant to comply with the code or return with a modified plan if sign code revisions occur.
Applicant Tony Pallotta described a sign package that includes four wall signs, two digital drive‑through panels and a static internal panel. The board and staff agreed the sign details could be resolved as a separate application: the board approved the building design and instructed the applicant to either remove the extra wall sign and replace it with permissible window signage or return with a staff‑level modification if the city's pending sign code revision allows the feature.
The board approved the related sign application (DR‑2026‑25) with site‑specific conditions from staff's report; the applicant may seek staff review should the city adopt sign‑code revisions in the coming weeks.
