The board heard a series of presentations and reports during its Feb. 10 meeting. FFA students presented plans for a cattle show fundraiser at Fonner Park; Mrs. Rohrich outlined plans for a Spanish Club trip in 2027; and Mrs. Ludwig summarized the special education services the district receives from ESU 10.
In the Activity Director report, Mr. Hirchert reminded the board of the district's drug and alcohol policy and provided winter sports updates. Mr. Pietrzak provided middle- and high-school event updates, and Superintendent Mr. Zessin reported on forthcoming staff openings and cited Nebraska Department of Education statistics on unfilled positions statewide. These items were presented for board information; most resulted in no independent motion beyond later agenda items related to services and personnel.
