Council adopts Comprehensive Plan amendment, adds Climate Element

The Maple Valley City Council voted 7-0 to adopt Ordinance O-25-850, which amends the 2024 Comprehensive Plan to update the Vision Element and incorporate a Climate Element. SWM/NPDES Program Manager Halley Kimball presented the plan amendment prior to the council vote; Councilmember Victoria Schroff moved approval and Mayor Sean P. Kelly seconded.
