Public Works Director Jay Lockerbie told council that an 8-inch transmission line near Buddy Durham's Auto Sales had burst twice this summer, causing short-term townwide loss of water pressure. He said crews completed repairs and installed a blow-off to isolate the bridge if future failures occur.
