The Odessa School District Board approved a consent agenda on March 25 that included four personnel resignations and routine financial items. The resignations listed on the consent agenda were Haley Friesen (JH assistant volleyball coach), Kolby Schafer (JH head football coach), Tyler Smith (JH assistant football coach) and Daniel Lloyd (TK–12 music teacher).
The board later approved several hires recommended by Superintendent Steve Fisk. "Tyler Smith - HS Assistant Football Coach" was approved on a 4-0 vote, and Brayton Schafer was approved as HS Assistant Football Coach with one abstention recorded for Zach Schafer, yielding a 3-0 recorded outcome after the abstention. The board also approved Joshua Clark as JH Head Football Coach (4-0), Mark Sebesta as JH Assistant Football Coach (3-0 after Nick Sebesta abstained) and Christine DeVore as Concessions Director (4-0).
