The Board approved Bernards' Initial Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for the Skyline Ranch Community School project by a 4‑0 voice vote on May 13.
Don Fansler of TELACU Construction Management (representing Bernards) reviewed the construction process, Division of the State Architect (DSA) approval status, contingencies and procurement timeline. Trustees asked questions about budget and schedule; staff and the presenter responded. The approval authorizes the district to proceed with the GMP as presented.
District staff will continue to monitor DSA approval items and update the Board on material changes to budget or schedule.
