The Gresham-Barlow School District Board of Directors held a special work session Oct. 2, 2025, calling the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. in the large conference room of the Public Safety and Schools Building. The meeting opened with roll call; four directors were present and three were absent.
The board recessed into an executive session at 6:01 p.m. "to Evaluate a Public Officer (Superintendent Evaluation) pursuant to ORS 192.660(2)(i)." Executive sessions under that statute are closed to the public, and the minutes note that "no decision may be made in executive session." The record shows virtual attendees were muted for the duration of the closed session.
Following the executive session the board reconvened at 6:39 p.m. and spent the remainder of the half-hour work session on brief business: reviewing the board's running list of future agenda topics and reading announcements from the agenda packet. Chair Blake Petersen reviewed the announcements and noted that a Zoom link will be provided for virtual attendance at upcoming meetings. With no further business the board adjourned at 6:40 p.m.
The district listed a Regular Board Business Meeting for 7:00 p.m. the same evening in the Council Chambers at the Public Safety and Schools Building.
