He emphasized cybersecurity and stated plainly, "Cyberattacks on schools are increasing," noting that policy changes and user education are key defenses. Board members followed with questions about the complexity of Edgenuity and the challenges of replacing PowerSchool; Raleigh said Edgenuity is being phased out while PowerSchool remains difficult to replace.
