Melissa Linder, principal of Mark Twain Elementary School, told the Silver Falls School District 4J board about the school's enrollment, implementation of the district's core curriculum and its schoolwide behavior support systems. She described a Self-Manager program that identifies students “displaying positive behavior” to serve as role models; current self-managers in the 4th and 5th grades were present to share their experiences and preferences.
