Superintendent reports SIS transition, safety training and improved AP results
Superintendent Dr. Gerdin told the board the district is switching its student-information system to Synergy, completed emergency-response and reunification trainings this summer, and reported the high school achieved a 59% AP pass rate with 12 AP Scholars; he cautioned implementation will include bumps during the transition.

Superintendent Dr. Gerdin provided the summer report and said the district is transitioning from eSchool to Synergy as its new student information system; he described multiple staff trainings to prepare for the change and warned of implementation challenges while praising the staff leading the effort. "Transitioning to a new SIS is a heavy lift and a significant change," he said, noting other nearby districts are also implementing Synergy this year.
