The board approved acquisition of a model S25 Triple Clark forklift at a not-to-exceed price of $31,900 from Forklifts of Omaha to provide hands-on equipment for a forklift operator micro-credential program offered in partnership with Metropolitan Community College. The motion passed unanimously; the minutes specify that the Carl Perkins federal grant will contribute $13,300 and the FPS Foundation CTE funds will contribute $18,600 toward the purchase.
