District reports 100% 7th-grade immunization compliance; DVA audit complete and Raptor rollout underway
Tarkington ISD reported full 7th-grade immunization compliance after a Texas Department of Health and Human Services audit, completion of a DVA audit, rollout of the Raptor visitor system, updates to the wellness policy, and summer-school plans.

Tiffany Morgan, Health Services Coordinator and District Nurse, told the board that the district achieved 100% compliance on 7th-grade immunization records following an audit by the Texas Department of Health and Human Services. Morgan also highlighted mobile vaccine clinics held Dec. 4, 2024 and Mar. 31, 2025 that provided on-site vaccinations for staff and students.
