County approves Golfside #5 final plat with multiple relaxations

The Buffalo County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the Golfside #5 Final Plat under Resolution 2026-34 at its July 28, 2026 meeting. Surveyor Joshua Gilbertson and property representative Scott Phillips were present; the record documents prior Planning Commission review, a previous preliminary denial, and multiple relaxations granted by the Board of Adjustment that the Board carried forward into the final approval.
The resolution and the minutes list 15 specific regulatory relaxations (zoning and subdivision sections) that were approved as part of the process. The minutes state that "one or more of the access easement(s) shown on the plat does not meet state and/or county standards for inclusion in the secondary road system. The access easement(s) will not be maintained by Buffalo County, unless brought into regulatory road standards." That condition was reiterated as a stipulation of final approval.
