The committee voted to forward revisions to policy 524 (internet acceptable use and safety), which MSBA updated to reflect a statute enacted by the 2026 Minnesota Legislature that adds notification responsibilities. The Chair said this is a mandatory policy and pointed the committee to the new statute language located on pages 4–5 of the model revision.
