Vice‑Chairman Brett Wachsmith opened a public hearing at 2:01 p.m. on community development and housing needs and the availability of State Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) public‑service funds. Tasha Maxwell of HopeSource gave an update on the organization’s activities, saying they have used the funds to support clients’ lifestyle and education needs "ranging from high school students to senior citizens."
