At a public hearing opened at 7:03 p.m., Executive Director of Interventions Kourtni Parnell briefed the board on the district's accelerated instruction offerings in reading and math for students identified as at risk. Parnell said the interventions cover students flagged by early reading screenings and students who did not meet STAAR standards.
