One member said there has been a "lack of transparency" in data‑center proposals and flagged NDAs and redactions at the PSC as obstacles to early public awareness.
Corey Singletary said the commission has taken a dim view of excessive confidentiality claims in recent cases and that standard tariffs are more transparent than one‑off contracts. "Part of the benefit of having tariffs as opposed to individual contracts is it is very transparent. It's like a posted rate. It's like a menu," he said, noting that tariffs allow public inspection of terms and conditions.
