Contractor outlines Phase 4 water‑main work, says project will run through year

Contractor Johnson Davis told the Ocean Ridge commission the water‑main Phase 4 contract started at the end of July and will continue through the rest of the year; the work will improve water flow, fire protection and replace hydrants. The contractor said flagging operations and resident mailers paid by the contractor will limit surprises and that sidewalks damaged during work will be replaced.

Johnson Davis project manager Clark Scribe introduced his team and said the Phase 4 water‑main contract began at the end of July and is expected to continue through the rest of the year. Meredith Cruz, the firm's public‑relations lead, told the commission, “So, the water main improvements will enhance the water flow and the fire protection and also replace the fire hydrants on the west side of the roadway.”
