Polk County board accepts assessor recommendations on 70 protests; 26 parcels' values lowered
At a July 21, 2026 meeting in Osceola the Polk County Board of Equalization voted to accept the county assessor’s recommendations on 70 valuation protests — lowering assessments on 26 parcels, leaving 43 unchanged and recording one withdrawal. Vice Chairman Mike Boss moved the motion; Boruch seconded it and the motion carried.
