The board also approved recommendations to employ or transfer Ted Koehler (custodian); Leah Larson (high school special education teacher); Lois Sampson (middle school special education aide); Janica Skjerly (middle school special education aide); and Mike Lucas (assistant boys basketball coach). The hiring motion was made by Bethany Stevens and seconded by Jeff Gifford; the minutes record the motion carried but provide no individual vote tallies or start dates.
