The Richland R‑I Board of Education voted unanimously on April 9 to change policy R 2870, titled "Administering Medicines to Students." Mr. Jeremy Conner moved to adopt the revision as presented, and Mr. Chris Porter seconded; President Clinton Corlew announced a 7–0 vote in favor.
