The board raised concerns about the accuracy and reliability of meeting captions and the produced transcript. "If you look at that closed caption during the meeting, like, and then you look at the transcript, the transcript is different than what's going on," the presiding member said, noting that the live display scrolls and sometimes erases content, which complicates later review of minutes.
