Comal County commissioners approve claims, proclamations and several change orders

Among later action items the court approved naming a private road 'Truth Trail' in the 4000 block of State Highway 46 West; authorized relinquishment of plat-review authority to the City of Spring Branch for approximately 6.1 acres within a 10.54-acre tract; and approved two change orders from the Trevino Group for the Comal County Mental Health Extended Observation Unit Scribe Residential Unit project (change order number 5 for $14,929.25 and change order number 6 for $131,158.27), with funding from American Rescue Plan Act interest-earned funds. The court also accepted a memorandum of understanding with the City of New Braunfels to allocate the Edward Byrne Memorial Local Justice Assistance Grant program funds for FY2025 and deferred action on the 2027 budget calendar.
