Mayor Trey Gunn recommended that the board adopt the Community Water System Emergency Response Plan, and the board approved the recommendation on June 16, 2026. The minutes record the motion as "ADOPT THE COMMUNITY WATER SYSTEM EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN." Alderman Mason Herrin seconded the mayor's recommendation; the motion carried unanimously.
