Dodge County manager reports mid-year finances, work orders and election costs; comp plan hearing set

Bearden said revenues for the quarter were $3,482,621.42 and expenditures were $6,008,404.79; he also stated funding for county road projects exceeded $2 million. The road report showed 66 work orders with an average completion time of 9.05 days. Bearden reported elections costs totaled $26,000 for the May 19 primary and $15,900 for the June 16 primary. He also noted the Comprehensive Plan final hearing is scheduled for July 30 at 3:00 p.m. and the county's emergency alert system has 500 enrollees.
Commissioners asked no substantive follow-up during the meeting; manager indicated the road committee will discuss 2027 LMIG projects and staff will return with further details as needed.
