Councilmember Nancy Thill presented proposed changes to the village tree ordinance, saying contractors — not homeowners — should be responsible for applying for tree permits under the revised rules. She also announced the Arbor Day celebration for July 10 at the entrance to the butterfly garden and reported that the contractor Pizzo noted Poison Hemlock was returning in the garden. Thill said she is gathering information about burying powerlines.
