County road superintendent details projects, material cost increases and timelines

Elko County Road Superintendent Dennis Price told the commission the county completed a mag program covering about 150 miles, is seeing mag material costs rise to roughly $138 per ton, and outlined chip-seal/slurry projects and a nearly complete 1.78-mile Lucky Nugget paving project. He said a preconstruction meeting was set for July 31.
