Library seeks county support as summer programs begin; commission appoints Jayme Kuhn

Mallie Brossett, branch commander at the Cusseta‑Chattahoochee Public Library, told commissioners the branch hosted more than 200 programs in the prior year, averaged about 800 visits a month and circulated roughly 500 items monthly. She asked for continued commission support and invited the public to the branch’s Juneteenth Food for the Soul party on June 19 at 11 a.m.
The commission also approved a resolution appointing Jayme Kuhn to the library board on a unanimous motion. Brossett noted partnerships with Chattahoochee County Schools and emphasized the library’s role helping residents with job applications, education and community resource navigation.
