Lane Singleton presented the northern 285‑mile portion of the Southwest Intertie Project (SWIP North), which he said would complete a 500‑kV transmission corridor with roughly 144 miles located in Elko County. He described project history (originally permitted by Idaho Power, later purchased by LS Power), noted the developer will file UWEPA permit applications soon, and asked the board for an updated resolution of support to assist federal and state permitting.
