Commission removes executrix and administratively closes long‑open estates

Randolph County Fiduciary Commissioner John J. Wallace IV told the commission the estate of Josephine Jodi Arizona Wingfield had been foreclosed and no funds remained to satisfy debts; Wallace recommended removing Executrix Lisa A. Evix and appointing the Randolph County Sheriff to close the estate. Commissioner Chris Siler moved to approve the recommendation and the motion passed unanimously.
Wallace also reported that the estate of Anna Madge Bledsoe (d. 2016) has been open nearly nine years and the co‑executors failed to file a timely final settlement; he recommended administratively closing the estate. Commissioners voted unanimously to administratively close the Bledsoe estate.
Wallace characterized both actions as administrative steps the county is authorized to take when personal representatives do not complete required filings or when an estate lacks funds to satisfy debts.
