Council reviewed a proposed schedule of municipal fees, including building‑permit fees (currently $25 for some permits), demolition permit fees, variance request fees and other service charges. Several councilors argued new-construction and addition permits should be raised from nominal levels to reflect engineering and review costs; one councilor proposed increasing a new‑construction fee to $100 as a minimum.
