Staff: Energize Langley microgrid engineering work finished; sites must seek implementation funding
City staff said final engineering reports for three Energize Langley microgrid sites are complete and the grant closed on April 15. Staff and a volunteer project management team will assist site owners with funding applications, but the next Commerce implementation funding cycle likely opens in 2027 with possible installations by 2029.
