Board approves resignations, appointments and CSE/CPSE minutes

The Avon Board approved the consent agenda on May 12, which included the Board of Education minutes from April 22, 2025, and a slate of personnel actions. The minutes list: "Resignation of Kristen Maxfield, vocal music teacher, effective June 4, 2025" and "Resignation of Nicole Rowley, art teacher, effective June 27, 2025," and the "Probationary appointment of Holly Rohrbach... effective 8/28/2025 with the probationary period ending 8/27/2029." The board also accepted Committee on Special Education and Committee on Preschool Special Education minutes for multiple dates and approved the Treasurer’s report and budget transfers for April.
