A staff presenter (speaker 5) walked through payroll tables and proposed a series of step changes in the engineering group. He said the proposal would remove Dan Dahlke from one payroll set effective June 1, advance an assistant to a higher pay step, promote Blake Gallagher and reintroduce a secretarial position effective Oct. 1, 2026. He told commissioners the net result would still be a county-side savings on personnel of about $77,004.35 (rounded) next fiscal year.
