The commissioners accepted two board resignations from local Emergency Service Districts and appointed replacements to fill the unexpired terms.
The court accepted the resignation of David O’Connell from Emergency Service District No.1 and appointed Hank Arndt to serve the remainder of the term through December 31, 2026. Later, the court accepted Kim McClaskey’s resignation from Emergency Service District No.2 and appointed former board member Natalie O’Nate to the unexpired term ending December 31, 2027. Both motions passed unanimously.
Commissioners praised the work of ESD board members and noted the districts oversee more than $5 million in property tax collections countywide, underscoring the importance of compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
