The Story County Board of Supervisors recorded the following formal actions on Aug. 4: adoption of the meeting agenda; approval of minutes from July 28; approval of personnel actions; approval of the consent agenda; adoption of a proclamation designating Aug. 7, 2026 as Purple Heart Day; approval of Resolution 27-02 to acquire Assam Sedge Prairie for conservation; adoption of revised financial policies subject to seven-day review; and approval to host a traveling public-art installation tied to county celebrations. The board also voted to enter closed session pursuant to Iowa Code section 21.5(1)(c) and adjourned upon return to open session.
