Comanche County jail reports 335 inmates; five transferred to state this week
Jail Administrator David Weber told the Comanche County Facilities Authority that the county had a combined total of 335 inmates, with 226 at the county detention center and 109 housed in other counties; five inmates were transferred to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections during the week.

David Weber, Jail Administrator, told the Comanche County Facilities Authority on May 26, 2026 that the detention center was managing steadily high population levels. "As of May 22, 2026 the detention center had a count of 201 inmates," Weber said, adding that the 201 figure includes 146 males and 55 females.
