Comanche County jail reports 335 inmates; five transferred to state this week

"As of May 22, 2026 the detention center had a count of 201 inmates," Weber said, adding that the 201 figure includes 146 males and 55 females.
Weber reported that five inmates were ready to go to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections and that five inmates were transferred to DOC during the week. He gave overall totals of 226 inmates at the Comanche County Detention Center and 109 inmates housed in other counties, for a combined total of 335.
