At the March 12 meeting, Annette Van Brunt of the Texas Public Energy Alliance presented historical electricity contracts and recommended participation in an interlocal procurement arrangement. The board approved a resolution delegating parameter authority to the superintendent and chief financial officer for electricity procurement, with the motion passing 7–0.
