As part of a long-term traffic-calming plan, Mr. Willis presented AV‑Tech proposals including $74,000 to install three 15" solar-powered digital speed radar signs, $1,500 per cloud traffic device per year, and a $25,000 mobile-unit option. Mr. Long said one existing unit logged about 800 varied speeding violations over a three‑week span, prompting a recommendation to relocate that unit 20 to 30 yards and to purchase a pole (estimated at about $1,200).
