Elementary Principal Lacey Cruddas reported enrollment and attendance figures at the March 17 meeting, saying current Pre‑K through 5th grade enrollment stands at 188. She told trustees that average daily attendance was 90.26% in January and improved to 94.80% in February, and that walkthroughs and T‑TESS appraisals are nearly complete.
Cruddas said benchmark results are being used to form targeted intervention plans. To close gaps, she said STAAR PACK tutoring for third through fifth graders will run for the next three weeks; the district is monitoring the program’s impact through ongoing walkthroughs and assessment data.
