The board unanimously approved sanctioning the Nueces County Texas 4‑H organization, the Kleberg‑Kenedy 4‑H program and the Jim Wells County Texas 4‑H organization as extracurricular activities for the 2024–2025 school year. Each sanction was approved by motion and recorded as passing 7-0 in the minutes.
Trustees also voted to recognize the corresponding county extension agents as adjunct staff members and to count students participating in 4‑H/extension educational activities as "in attendance" for Foundation School Program purposes; those recognition votes were likewise unanimous. The approvals appear intended to ensure participating students are counted appropriately for attendance and program reporting.
