Bastrop ISD bond projects proceed; Mina Elementary Phase 2 nearing completion

Lee Raspberry provided the board an update on bond-funded construction and renovation projects. He reported that Mina Elementary Phase 2 was nearing completion, demolition for Phase 3 was scheduled to begin later in May, and renovations at Gateway and CRCA/Genesis were progressing on schedule. Raspberry also reported ongoing work on additions at Riverside and Creekside Middle Schools, renovations and additions at Bastrop High School, and early development work on Elementary School #10.
Raspberry noted campuses with Exterior Secured Areas (ESAs) are compliant with TEA requirements except for one adjustment still needed at Cedar Creek High School. No changes to the bond program schedule were reported in the minutes; staff described continued progress across projects.
