The commission voted to adopt a revised county fee schedule and to approve staffing recommendations presented by budget staff. Tommy Crawley summarized fee changes (noting the pink amendment document) and said the changes had been discussed across departmental updates. Commissioners asked for last year's fees to be displayed side-by-side with proposed changes and for clearer online backup; a member of the public, Tamara Robbins, said she could not review the materials because they were not posted and asked for more transparency.
Staff also asked the board to approve a net increase of positions across the organization (a net of 19 requested positions in several departments and 11 additional BOCC staff net increases). The board moved and seconded approval of the staffing recommendations and approved them by voice vote. Staff said they will circulate the fee comparisons and post full backup materials online.
