Cheney City Council voted unanimously on Jan. 13, 2026 to approve Resolution F-456 to place city funds in the Washington State Investment Pool. Ms. Niemeier introduced the agenda item explaining the investment pool option; Councilmember Barthels moved the resolution and Councilmember LaBar seconded the motion, which carried without recorded opposition.
