Associate Superintendent of Teaching & Learning Dr. Barbara Ybarra presented the proposed partnership. Trustee Julie Harlin moved to approve the contract with Connections Education LLC "for virtual learning program offerings, as presented." Trustee Ruthie Waller seconded the motion, and the board recorded a 7–0 vote in favor.
The public minutes do not include contract dollar amounts or a start date for the program; the board approved the agreement as presented during the action items portion of the special meeting.
