Cameron ISD board adopts 2024–25 Student Code of Conduct
Summary

The Cameron Independent School District Board of Trustees adopted the 2024–2025 Student Code of Conduct without objection at its Aug. 12 meeting.
Roy Martinez moved to adopt the Code of Conduct, and Annisha Williams seconded the motion; the board passed it unanimously. Board members said adopting the Code at the start of the school year provides clear expectations for students and staff.
Separately, trustees discussed the existing student dress and grooming code — noting it has remained mostly unchanged for many years — and decided to defer any changes. Administrators were directed to research possible updates and return to the board with proposals at a future meeting; no formal action on dress code changes was taken.
