Task force refines streetscape graphics and flags express-lane/Metro coordination for later study
Staff updated streetscape graphics for Fair Lakes Parkway, Monument Drive and Government Center Parkway and defined active transportation. Tom (DOT) warned that express-lane ramps and proposed rail alignments will require coordination and future technical work.

Staff presented updated streetscape mock-ups for Fair Lakes Parkway, Monument Drive and Government Center Parkway, showing possible separated shared-use paths, street trees and pedestrian-friendly cross-sections rather than strict dimensional prescriptions. "We reworked the graphics on Fair Lakes Parkway, Monument Drive, Government Center Parkway to show more of that vantage point," Ryan said while describing the intent to provide examples rather than mandatory configurations.
